Burgeo has some very interesting attractions such as the following:

•Museum - showcasing the local history of the town of Burgeo for the last couple hundred years.

•Farley Mowat's house - the former home of the international author of "Never Cry Wolf" (later made into an Hollywood movie).

•Sandbanks Provincial Park - a park with miles of white sandy beaches.

•Eclipse Island - an island amongst the Burgeo archipelago that was historically named by the legendary Captain James Cook who witnessed a solar eclipse while surveying the local area.

•King George IV Ecological Reserve
